He was a true ray of sunshine in the Small Practices Association, founding the East Lancashire Division and continuing to put the fun into ELFDA education and social programmes.

Devinder was born in Mirpur, India and came to England in 1969. He started to work as a GP in Blackburn from 1979 and was admired and respected by his patients and his colleagues. He was dedicated to the care and well-being of his patients until his last days.

Devinder was engaging and charismatic; a natural leader with a real sense of fun.  His smile and positive attitude are legendary in ELFDA.

A devoted family man, musician, poet - it was he who brought Bangra dancing to our Association.

He will be very sadly missed and we send our deepest condolences to his wife and family.
