GP contract overhaul ends MPIG and reshapes QOF

As a result of the negotiations between the GPC and NHS Employers there is agreement on significant adjustments to the GMS contract. The main features are:

• 72 QOF points shifted to new areas
• Abolition of the square root formula for prevalence
•  An agreed erosion of the MPIG with the eroded money being cycled back into the Global Sum.
